Maisa Fernandez
Maisa Fernandez focuses on public relations for CDMS clients. She constantly strives to provide the most effective, positive exposure for CDMS and its clients.
From writing sales pieces and press releases, to implementing media fam trips to client destinations, Maisa has handled a variety of high-level public relations needs for clients, even managing tourism crises like terrorism. She ensures each message is targeted and unique, attracting the right audience for each communication. Maisa works with several top travel and consumer publications, such as: Travel Weekly, Travel Agent, National Geographic Traveler, Conde Nast, Arthur Frommer's Budget Traveler, Maxim, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride, Brides, New York Times, Time Magazine, Newsweek, Outdoors, The Travel Channel, The Golf Channel, Fine Living and many others.
Having previously worked as the Communications Specialist of CDMS' parent company, Travel Acquisitions Group, formerly Carlson Leisure Group (CLG), Maisa came to Custom Destination Marketing Solutions with strong industry relationships and a healthy knowledge of the travel industry. She is an active member of ISES and PRSA.
Maisa is a native Argentine and is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French. She has two degrees; one in English and one in Philosophy.
